Small, powerful and lower cost
These drives are high-performance OEM products, and because Teknic only offers them to OEM customers, you work directly with Teknic, cutting out the middlemen and saving 15 to 35 percent. In moderate OEM quantities, you can get a motor drive with a built-in motion controller and expandable I/O, only slightly bigger than a deck of cards (including its heat sink), that delivers 2,200 watts of peak power, for only $199. High power models deliver more than 15,000 watts of peak servo power for just $758. Compatible with most motors
Eclipse can drive brushless servo motors, brush motors, linear servo motors, voice coils, and more. Meridian can drive those motors, and stepper motors too—open-loop stepper motors, stepper motors as vector-controlled servo motors, and linear stepper motors. Both Eclipse and Meridian are state-of-the-art motor drives, and are available in a wide variety of sizes and power output levels. Choosing one over the other basically comes down to whether you want to supply your own motion controller or get one built into the motor drive. Both drive families are about the same cost per watt of power.
